Prism Power specializes in producing themed anime events with a particular focus on music. Originally started as an unofficial Anime Expo afterparty, the project has grown since finding its footing in mid-2024 and now produces regular events in the Los Angeles area.
We are currently expanding into an editorial arm and widening the scope of our projects, from immersive cosplayer experiences to group art shows and cosplay workshops.
We hope you enjoy us on this journey as we continue to strive to bring to life the artistry, inspiration, and joy these series and fandoms bring us.
for love & justice
Giving back and supporting our community is something that has longtime been at the forefront of our efforts. Our namesake is obviously derived from Sailor Moon – a series that always fought for the tenets of love and justice.
In the past, we’ve helped raise funds for The Animator Dormitory Project in Japan, Voices Beyond Assault, and have an upcoming fundraiser for the Fire Poppy Project & CHIRLA. We’ve also organized a roundtable discussion with workers from SAG-AFTRA, VFX Union, The Animation Guild, and CODE-CWA to support worker efforts in fandom spaces.
We hope to continue these efforts moving forward.
